In sleep he sang to me
In dreams he came
That voice which calls to me
And speaks my name
And do I dream again?
For now I find
The phantom of the opera
Is there inside my mind
Sing once again with me
Our strange duet
My power over you
Grows stronger yet
And though you turn from me
To glance behind
The phantom of the opera
Is there, inside your mind
Those who have seen your face
Draw back in fear
I am the mask you wear
It's me they hear...
I was listening to The Phantom of the Opera soundtrack, and I guess I got inspired. So, here's my little manga/anime version of the actor and actress of the movie. I drew it in resemblance to the actor and actress, but there's some differences and variations in my drawing. Hmm. I want to finish the movie. I stopped at the climax of the movie, so I'm really bugged about that. >__< Anyway, this drawing is kinda crappy. Christine looks fine. The Phantom is a bit weird. Especially his hair. Ugh. I really didn't like how that turned out, but whatever. I drew this picture around 3 am... And there are A LOT of art-technical things that are wrong in this drawing. Well, it's 5 am now, and I have to get ready for school. I'm getting tired too. Good day!
Materials: White copy paper. Portfolio series pencils. Mechanical pencil.
Time: Almost 2 hours.
References: I looked at several pictures of the actor and actress in their set costumes, but no reference is used for the pose.

LOVE this picture, must say.. his eyes are a bit droopy maybe you could try doing them normal , but apart from that, its wicked, love chrisitnes eyes! i love the phantom of the opera movie ! woot
I really like the innocence this picture emits, particularly from Christine. The Phantom looks sensitive, too (which just makes me want to hug him!), and Christine looks so vulnerable and trusting. Nice effect ^_^
